Wedding Reception Ideas

Modern Trends In Wedding Reception Ideas
By Kenny Casanova

Lately, the traditions involved in weddings are changing to meet the demands of a new generation. Are no longer boring slow dance night full of cake cutting and the league as the launch of the main attractions. They are becoming more elaborate custom event with energy and surprises to mirror the character of the bride and groom.

If you want to host wedding reception ideas that screams you, consider this list of Top 10:

1. Show in style

Wedding Reception IdeasIf the wedding ceremony and reception will take place in different scenarios, providing guests with transportation that meets the feeling you want for the party. A limousine or Hummer crazy ride can set the tone. Recently, I had a wedding reception ideas in Fonda, New York, a large city of skydiving, in an old aircraft hangar that was dressed in a full German / Swiss. Tyrolean music played polkas and starting, while serving brats to beer a cocktail hour. When it came time for the introduction of the bridal party, I hit the theme of Mission Impossible and everyone looks up into the air. People marveled at the feast of skydiving to join the festivities.

2. Wedding Cup Cakes:

While you can absolutely love the idea of a kind of cream cheese carrot cake, Uncle Charlie may absolutely hate. That does not mean you have to be selfish and not have carrot cake, it just means you have to think outside the box. In this case, why not try WEDDING cupcakes. You level of a wedding cake display with many different types of cakes round, in the sample in the form of a traditional wedding cake. Everyone, including you and Uncle Charlie is happy now.

3. The first dance:

Wedding Reception IdeasMany brides and grooms have been seriously toned down 100% for the first ball, opting for a 50% slow and 50% ridiculous. Rascal Flatts "My Wish" plays right after the first chorus, when Sir Mix A Lot belts his love of big butts. This is becoming more regular than not, with the added touch of the development of choreography.

4. Video Game Time

Believe it or not, interactive video game competitions are a new trend. Having an hour later, reserved for popular competitions like Guitar Hero or Rock Band is a smart and hip way to add a memorable element of fun to your wedding reception ideas. I've seen digital projectors come into play at night time wedding tent on the roof where a huge screen has been created for the game to develop.

5. Say Cheese! Wedding Photo Booths:

Guests love to jump and take silly photos for great additions to your album of wedding photos. Have you seen this yet? The wedding photo booths are quickly becoming a new tradition in modern wedding reception ideas. It also helps pass the time when the photographer is running late and people are waiting for t = for the grand entrance of the wedding party.

6. Funky Snack Attack:

Wedding Reception IdeasTables of chocolates, ice cream bars, your favorite trail mix ... There are no rules to what can serve more. If you think the sandwich is cheap, but something that everyone appreciates, you can use a variety of containers (think martini glasses) to add a special decorative touch. The Fourth of July, 2009, Pakistan made a big American Wedding, where all sorts of great curries from Pakistan, where laden Chow tandem with America's favorite sweetheart, I guess you pizza. The pizza is served in elegant silver tray with a heat light, like a carving prime rib roast!

7. Karaoke hours

You want fun! Add karaoke! This can be really impressive on the right, but be careful. Place this activity of late, if not the last, in the event and limited participation, or it could come from a karaoke concert!)

8. Digital Slide Show

Collect all the pictures you can of the bride and groom growing up, then add pictures of them together now. (You can go straight to Walmart with the shooting of age and disk scanning for a couple of dollars!) Next, with the wonders of modern technology, a power point slide show can be created with ease. The point of power can operate continuously, while the guests eat, or you can play once as a scheduled activity with music. He might not even know someone who can work Photoshop, to make you curious about this slide show for Ben and Joan, who incidentally was married in an aquarium!

9. Reception Issues

A themed wedding reception ideas is a great way for your personality shine. I've done weddings with many different subjects, including Heavy Metal, Hawaiian luau, ethnic-specific, and even Las Vegas.

10. Hey, Mister DJ!

Great rock bands, but sometimes is limited to only a few sounds that can not be everyone's cup of tea. A good DJ, however, can be like the weather in New England and the change in an instant. In most wedding reception ideas, the DJ is the life of the party and can be mixed demands and desires of the bride and groom to keep everyone happy.

Wedding Consultants

Wedding Consultants

Wedding Consultants Do The Heavy Lifting

So, the magic day has come around. You will get married. Congratulations! Now you need to plan out the ceremony. Wedding Consultants can be very helpful in doing this and make sure everything was done.

Wedding ConsultantsWhat wedding consultants, exactly? Did you every wonder what might want to have a fairy godmother to help you with all your planning needs? Well, someone who helps to arrange the marriage is often compared with this myth. Why? Those who have taken it to yourself to plan a wedding can often work miracles.
Almost 50% of all partners involved will use a professional to help plan the big day. Planners have a strange (and less interesting) the ability to organize, coordinate, and plan your perfect ceremony. While taking skills for decorating genius can arrange weddings, a professional must also have a lot of industry contacts. Most people in this field know the owner of a large number of receptions; bridal shop owner; cake decorators, musicians, and other vendors in this industry.
Why is it important for your wedding consultants to have a Rolodex the size of a big rock? If you want to get the best for you to handle money, wedding coordinator should be able to call everyone on their list and find your final day level. So, what tasks the wedding consultants? Well, most of the professionals will plan every detail of your wedding, so you can just sit down and choose the things you like best.
Wedding ConsultantsAlthough it is possible to draw from a great wedding without the help of a coordinator, most brides are not using one request they have. Chances are, you already have an ideal day ceremony in mind, but you may not know how to pull it off - well, that's what marriage is for professionals. Once you rent one of these people, you simply describe your dreams and let them work.
At the end of the day, a good marriage with a professional like a miracle. When something is wrong, they make them right. As a bride or bridegroom, that a single ability is something that can not be underestimated on your wedding day!

Hindsight on Wedding Plans

I read this post a while ago, and it made me think... if you were planning your wedding now, what do you wish you would know now, that you'll learn later. And since she wrote it a month or so ago, and I am still thinking about it. - well it's prolly worth it for you to check it out.

This was a great post written by Lauren Grove, of The Design Grove, if you haven't been to her blog, definately add it to your Google Reader.

What do you wish you knew then, that you know now?
